Milling Machines::

Our fleet of milling machines include two conventional machines varying in size - three CNC controlled and one NC controlled machines.

CNC Milling Machines

Heller CNC Milling Machine

Retrofitted with a Fagor control, the Heller CNC Milling Machine depicted above is the largest of the three CNC's.  
This machine has a:
• travel of 1800mm on the X-AXIS
• travel of 630mm on the Z-AXIS
• travel of 560mm on the Y-AXIS and either vertical or horizontal milling capabilities.

Complimenting the CNC Okuma Lathe, this machine is also ideal for repetition work plus for milling radiuses and circles.

Maho CNC Milling Machine

Purchased in December 2002 from Germany the Maho adds an additional capability with its CNC controlled rotary table. The table, which can be indexed every one thousandths of a degree, makes the jobs that require accuracy in drilling holes on PCDs and splining externally a headache of the past.

Specifications are:
• Travel of 1000 mm on the X-AXIS
• Travel of 800 mm on the Z-AXIS
• Travel of 560 mm on the Y-AXIS and either vertical or horizontal milling capabilities.
• Turntable size - 1150mm x 800 mm indexable every 1000th of a degree.
