Conventional Lathes
Housing a total of seven conventional lathes allows us to meet all of our customers' needs.  They range from 0 - 5 meters between centres, with a maximum of 680mm diameter swing over the saddle and a swing of 1030mm over the bed. Two of the conventional lathes have copping attachments which allows greater ease and speed in machining radiuses on pulley shafts.

CNC Okuma Lathe
Purchase in 1990, it was one of the first of its type in Mackay, being able to accommodate up to 1200mm between centres with a swing over the saddle of 360mm.
The 12 tool station turret makes it ideal for repetition work as well as the more difficult turning tasks.

CNC VDF Boehringer DUS 800 Lathe
Shipped directly from the manufacturers in Germany in 1997, our CNC VDF is one of its kind in Australia. Having the ability of being used in either program or manual mode makes it ideal for one-off jobs and repetition work. Pulley shafts are a speciality.

CNC Harrison Alpha 550 “S” Lathe
The recently acquired Harrison Alpha 550 “S” is a manual and a CNC lathe. The machine provides us with the best of both worlds being able to be used for one-off jobs as well as CNC repetition work.
